Photography Art is an example for AI Art and what they have in common.

 Hello Readers,

Well, I figured I would cross this bridge earlier then later "Photography Art is an example for AI Art".  It does have a couple interesting 'same beginning realities'.

Before I dive into it, I would like to invite you to take a look at my published online magazines and will be expanding with the new operation.

Magazines: Write to Write - Paranormal and Spiritual World News - All Different Ways to Shape Us From Head to Toe - Now We Both Know - Bachelors Grove Cemetery Tribute and they all can be found at: Edward Shanahan (@edwardshanahan) on Flipboard. One magazine has over 5,000 followers.

The above image is from a photograph I took at Bachelor's Grove Cemetery and then I manipulated it with an Ai Art generator to make it different and an art like drawing, as many photographers manipulates a photo in a photo editor to create their version of art.

It took photography 20 years before it was considered art.
It was not until in Paris’s Universal Exposition of 1859, twenty years after the invention of the medium, that photography and “art” (painting, engraving, and sculpture) were displayed next to one another for the first time; separate entrances to each exhibition space, however, preserved a physical and symbolic distinction between the two groups.

It seems the photography art was received like Ai Art has been.
Photography couldn’t qualify as an art in its own right, the explanation went, because it lacked “something beyond mere mechanism at the bottom of it.” At best, critics viewed photography as a useful tool for painters to record scenes that they may later more artfully render with their brushes. with their brushes.

Why is photography considered a form of art?

Photography as an art form arose from advancements in technology which allowed photographers to manipulate their images to fit their artistic expression. Photographers are able to drastically change the outcome of an image through choosing various cameras, lenses, film, and the framing and timing of a shot.

Should photography be considered as fine art?
Coming into the 21st century, the field has greatly expanded and now any photograph that has an artistic intent behind it can often be considered fine art. If there is an underlying artistic message, then it will be considered fine art photography, whether it’s a landscape, portrait, or abstract photo.

What is AI Art?

AI Art is the creation of artwork using AI as a tool or medium (like the photo camera and the digital / computer photo editors), typically in the form of digital paintings, sculptures, or videos.
Unique and visually stunning - the perfect addition to any art collection! It can be difficult to create something that is both unique and visually striking, but with the help of AI, it is possible to create artwork that is both innovative and visually appealing. Some of the most popular examples of AI art include paintings by AI artists such as Yann LeCun or Daan Roosegaarde, which are often praised for their stunning visuals and innovative design.

AI art is also becoming increasingly popular in the photography world, where it is used to create stunning images that are impossible or impractical to produce using traditional methods. Whether you are a fan of AI art or not, there is no doubt that it has come a long way and is continuing to grow in popularity.

The point I wanted to get across is Photography art was not considered art, until ten years after first becoming known, just as today AI art seems to have the same growing pains due to not yet being accepted as art to do the manipulation done by way of computer input by the user, with skill also used in creating the final presentation. Just as a photograph is often manipulated by a person using a computer or cell phone to produce a desired digital image. Kind of like I did with the Bachelor's Grove Cemetery image above, but I used AI.

Let me introduce you to David Kump, who will be part of the new operation.

Mr. David Kump, I have known also for a longtime, thirty years as he has participated in much of the events I have created in the past.

Who is David Kump? He is a published photographer, writer, artist, songwriter, and artist.
His creations are: DLK Photo Arts, taking his photos to becoming fine art. DLK on Location Media, and DLK & Captains of Liberty is his songwriting recordings.

He has been in theater management that offered an opportunity for photographing top musical touring acts. He retired from the racing car world.

He is creator and publisher of the new publication: Photo Journal Review, it is publication that can be found in selected Coffee Shops in and around the Joliet area and surrounding suburbs.

Mr. Kumps publication is unique, and I will work on convincing him to let me give it a national and international distribution, as there are many who are as David likes to call them 'Free Thinkers' that I'm sure would welcome receiving the issues in a readable electronic publication in a Coffee Shop, let's say in France.

David will be our 'Locations to explore' consultant.

Welcome David.

Let Me Introduce You to Steve Hyzny, who will be part of the new operation

Thirty-three years is a long time and Steve has been there assisting in operations I ran that includes a not-for-profit organization for ten years that allowed traveling to other states and participation in running events at GlamourCon. Six years of co-directing a Cable TV Show that I produced, directed and edited that played twice a week in over 60 cities in IL and Northwest IN. A magazine publication I created that Steve assisted with editing that was published and distributed nationwide by mail by subscriptions and also showcased in some stores.

Then we moved to producing a Cable TV starting in the year 2000 that was The Unexplained World that included the Paranormal to the Supernatural, but it was not well received by Comcast due to complaints back then from Preachers. It was short lived.

He has assisted in some of the paranormal larger events I have run, like the Chicago Paranormal Meet and Greet along with videotaping past shows of interest for the YouTube channel, The Unexplained World.

Steve is a longtime friend, business confidant, knows how I think and has seen lot on the paths I have taken. Steve is also a College Professor / Teacher of Cyber Security.

Steve will, as will Annette (who I introduced in the last email), have their input with the expertise that each of them separately provide.

Welcome to the new adventure Steve.

Let Me Introduce You to Annette, who will be part of .....

Hello Readers,

I will be introducing individuals as time goes on, those who will be participating with me in Content Creations by ELS along with my own background of experience.

It is my pleasure to bring you the lady who has been a friend for over 23 years, has been involved in different ventures with me in the past, is a bona fide artiest and will be part of the new path that is developing. Annette will be a major part of the consulting and if a project request may fit her interest, it will be passed on to her as her own.

Annette:
Annette has had a life-long love affair with the Arts! She started as a Macliner for advertising biggie, Foote, Cone and Belding of Chicago. She attended night school at the American Academy of Art and worked on direct marketing materials for clients like GBC Binding, Amana, Quaker and Coors.

After leaving the ad game to start a family, Annette continued to instruct on Adobe design products, do freelance art direction, publish not-for-profit newsletters and collaborate on community art projects.

In 2010, her love for children led her to become a K-8th grade Art Teacher where she gets to help young people explore their world through arts and crafts. For 8 years she wrote and won the Indiana Arts Commission Grant.

And summer art camps keep her busy in the off-season. Annette is available for logo, design and other artistic consultations, currently working on the communications campaigns of Izaak Walton Porter County Chapter and Elwood for Mayor among others.

I am happy that Annette agreed and will be participating.

Sign-up to receive this blog in the future.

Until next time, enjoy.
